Description

The “U” shape of this striker makes it a little easier for a beginner to learn to use a Flint & Steel for making fires.  The “U” actually allows the user to keep the sharp flint edge a little farther from their knuckles, minimizing the chances of an accidental nicked knuckle.   The metal for this striker was formulated to give the maximum shower of sparks, again making it a great striker for the novice.
